“Live your life to the fullest”—I remember one elderly friend telling me this. People of different social class express it in their own ways to actualize the idea. For me, the easiest form of living life at its best is RELAXATION. Yes, as simple as that! Not all people can experience serenity. The President of our country wants this, or even the simplest Balot vendor, longs to feel tranquility or peace of mind.
Hombres imbibe alcoholic liquors; go to parties and bars, to relax. I know few men who do that. Femmes go to coffee shop, salon and tadaaaan---SPA to feel pampered and relieved! Who, in this busy world, would ever refuse to have a Spa treatment?
Upon surfing the web, a deal at a group-buying site really caught my attention. “Pay only P2399 for a SPArty Package for 6 people from Kabibe Salon and Spa instead of P8930.” I started texting my friends and sent them the link of the site. Good timing! Instead on gulping Tanduay Ice, my friend Jean, who is my co-March birthday-celebrant, and I decided to purchase this as our birthday treat to the group. We even had second thoughts and took glance on some deals, which we thought might be better than the SPArty, when all we really wanted that time is a full body massage and a footspa. Yet, our instincts still led us to Kabibe’s SPArty deal. Here’s the catch:
* Package includes full body massage + mini pedicure, back scrub + back
massage, full pedicure + eyebrow threading, aroma hair therapy + mini facial,
aroma hair therapy + back massage.
* Additional treatment for the host/celebrant that includes full body massage+
back scrub. Free membership for the host/ celebrant for (1) year (membership
can avail 15% discount on all services and 10% discount on over the counter
products.
* 3-4 hours stay @ the whole 2nd floor.
* Free Wi-Fi access.
The SPArty promo is good for 6 people only, since we are 7 in the group (originally 8, unfortunately she has a Sunday work sched), we just paid an additional amount in Cash.
In between days of waiting, I keep on texting Ms. Queenie, the Marketing Manager of Kabibe Salon and Spa (which happens to be a fellow Trinitian), for inquiries. And though I am so kulit, texting her and calling for different batch of questions, she extended her patience and answered all of my clarifications. Honestly, I really can’t wait, all of us are filled with excitement.

Of course, different posts with SPArty on it!

SPArty are held at the 2nd floor of Kabibe Salon and Spa’s unit in Alcal building, besides CCA and in front of Ateneo Blue Eagle’s Gym, along Katipunan Avenue. Here’s a look from the outside to the inside of the Spa.
A look at the SPArty area...
Pedi are done at the couch while chitchatting with friends. They have a cutie Pink and Blue robes.
Massage, facial and scrubs are done here. During massage, they play a mellow music which soothes the mind and help you relax. They have different oil scents too.
Since it is a SPArty and you have the 2nd floor's exclusivity, you are allowed to bring foods. I think they do cater as I've seen from their FB page, if you don't want to bring your own. When we had our Party here, we just ordered from Shakey's pizza through the Salon's landline. Yes, they are kind enough to let you use their phone.
Indeed, the SPArty experience was superb. Aside from those people I celebrated it with, it wouldn't be possible if the area and Salon staff are of mediocre service. We even had pictures with the staff and Ms. Queenie. They are all jolly and hospitable. I give 10/10 for the team, and 9/10 for the Salon. Maybe additional equipments and entertainments would give them the perfect score. The promo is a bang for your buck too. To cut it short, we will definitely see them again.
It was my first Spa-experience. This is also my first professional body massage in my 29 years of existence. No other people I don’t know had the chance to touch my body.
As some people say, First times should be sweet and extra special. It should be impeccable and one-of-a-kind experience. So it has to be perfect. And guess what?
IT IS EXQUISITELY PERFECT.
